Drying Sectors

Drying Sectors

On flat paper machines, after sheet formation on the flat table assembly, the paper must pass through a sector that must remove the water from the leaves until it reaches approximately 50% of fibers and 50% of water, to then enter the sector of removal of water by evaporation which we call drying sectors.

Technical description

The flat paper drying sectors are composed of drying cylinders that are rotating steam pressure vessels, support structures, and all auxiliary elements composed of: screens, guide rollers, splitters, stretchers, fabric sliders, drives, hoods, rope systems for leaf passage, gangway, air insufflation, protections, among others.

We developed our drying technology to work with the high speeds of modern papermaking machines, with high efficiency of harnessing electrical and thermal energy, efficient leading-edge systems, low maintenance and long service life.
