Yankee Cylinders
We manufacture yankee cylinders in carbon steel sheets. These cylinders perform better than cast iron because they have a higher heat transfer rate, besides being safer and cheaper.

Features and benefits
• Made of carbon steel with up to 4500 mm in diameter, with double jacket and internally machined.
•Work pressure: up until 8 kg/cm2.
• Clean construction, without internal tie rods other than the shirt.
• Metallized cylinder, which eliminates the difference in weld hardness and extends the life of the machinery, because there is only wear on the metallization.
Advantage of dryers made of steel over cast dryers
• Greater security: the plate dryer doesn't usually explode.
• Cheaper, even with metallization.
•Lighter.
