Drives

Drives

Paper-making machines require several trigger points for their operation.

Make budget

Technical description

There are still some small and old machines that use a shaft driven by only one motor and it drives every necessary point on the paper-making machine..

Almost all current machines use drives that have been conventionally called “multi motors”. In this case, each point that needs to be activated receives an engine or a gear motor. From a mechanical point of view, it becomes very easy to activate each point.

Under electrical aspects, each motor is powered by a frequency inverter and all these inverters are controlled together to obtain the synchronization of each point of the machine as well as to have speed variation together and in the correct proportion..

Application

Ippel engineering designs the paper machine drive by calculating all the triggered points, determining power, engine speed and type as well as power / torque, reduction and type of reducers required, cardan or other form of transmission, designing bases for motors and reducers, protections according to NR12, lay out for installation and drawings for determining the concrete bases.

The project takes into account the speeds required for the production of paper machines considering the types of papers and weights as well as the forecasts for future production increases.

Features and Advantages

In addition to internally designing all mechanical drives, we can supply all of it as well as the project, panels and all necessary electrical components and schedules, carried out by Ippel partners who work specifically in the electrical / electronic paper industry.

In this way we can deliver a complete package with minimal customer involvement other than civilian installations.
